Every time you light up your candle, burn it for a minimum of 2-3 hours. This will ensure a pool melt and prevent your candle from tunneling and wasting wax. You will also get the maximum burn time out of your candle. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at one time.

Keep your candle wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times. Trimming the wick every 4 hours of burn time is suggested, but ensure you do this once the candle has cooled or before you lit it again. Trimming the wick will make your candle last longer.
